Our Technique Workshop

Give your dancer the chance to grow with focused workshops led by expert instructors at Technique House. Each class is designed to sharpen specific skills—from flexibility and turns to jazz fundamentals and conditioning.

Spots are limited to 10 students per class, so early registration is encouraged.

Flexibility

Improve balance, control, and grace with drills focused on leg holds, illusions, and penché. Perfect for dancers wanting to expand their range of motion.

Jazz Fundamentals & Combos

Build strong technique through essential jazz steps and short combinations, laying the foundation for rhythm, style, and performance confidence.

Conditioning Class

Strengthen core muscles, stamina, and endurance with targeted exercises designed to support dancers in all styles of training.

Turns

Master the art of clean, controlled turns including ice skaters, seconds, and combo variations to take your turning technique to the next level.

Pre Ballet

Nurturing Our Youngest Dancers

This preparatory stage is designed for young children (ages 4-7). It focuses on building a strong foundation in body alignment, basic technique, and musicality. Students will be introduced to the ballet world in a fun and focused way, preparing them for future rigorous training. In Pre Ballet 2, students are formally introduced to ballet vocabulary and a more traditional class structure with warm-up and center exercises.

Our core ballet program offers rigorous year-round training for students by placement only. Each level focuses on expanding technique, accurate execution, and developing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Students are formally introduced to the ballet barre, complex combinations, and advanced techniques like demi-pointe, pirouettes, and jumps.

Requirements: Ballet 1 must take 2 classes a week (including conditioning). Ballet 2 must take 3 classes (including conditioning). Ballet 3 must take at least 6 hours a week.

Conditioning (PBT)

Conditioning (PBT): Enhance Performance & Prevent Injury

Conditioning is a mandatory class for students from Ballet 1 and up. Supplementing their dance training with a well-rounded cross-training plan helps dancers prevent injuries and improve performance.

Contemporary (PCT)

Contemporary (PCT): Modern Dance for Artistic Expression

Modern Dance Technique is meant to help create well-rounded and artistic dancers. Emphasizing the concepts of breath, weight, fall and recovery, and spinal articulation, Contemporary classes are designed to develop technical skills, musicality, and an understanding of movement.
